When I'm home and not on expedition, I open Zoom on Saturday at noon. An hour. No agenda, no slides, no script. Just an recurring hour to be available to my community, "face-to-face."
During my residency at The Ritz-Carlton Kapalua Bay this spring, I offered open conversations alongside the formal presentations. Something happened in those rooms. People asked different questions. Better ones. About the photography that excites them, about expedition life, about how to improve on something specific. The openness of it seemed to matter as much as the content.
This is an attempt to keep that going.
Just conversation. Photography, wild places, how images are made, where to go, what to look for. What you're working on. What you're stuck on. What you're curious about.
